It is romantic, exhilarating and breathtakingly beautiful. Pease Bay with its vast beach and spectacular seascape is an excellent base to explore everything the area has to offer.
There are plenty of interesting places to visit within a short drive, from the pretty coastal resorts of Dunbar and North Berwick in East Lothian to Berwickshire’s fishing harbours at St Abbs and Eyemouth. The fortified and fought-over town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is just 30 minutes away.

East Lothian's Golf Coast

From Musselburgh to Dunbar in East Lothian you will find a stretch of road that has now officially been named Scotland's Golf Coast. Along this coastal route you will find 22 top-class golf courses including the 2013 Open Championship venue - Muirfield.

Musselburgh is home to the oldest continuously played golf course in the world.  The course dates back as far as 1672 however its believed that Mary Queen of Scots played here in the 1500s.  The course caters for visitors and you can still enjoy a game as it was played centuries ago by hiring hickory clubs for a 9 hole round of golf.
