Here at Pease Bay we care about the environment and sustainable tourism. We continuously review what we do and make improvements that help lower our impact on nature, our surroundings and local culture. We encourage all of our guests to recycle where possible and recycling facilities are available on the park. In addition we support conservation projects managed by recognised charities, such as the Scottish Wildlife Trust.  As part of this initiative, we ask all of our holiday guests to make a donation of £1.00 per booking which goes directly towards their projects.

Scottish Wildlife Trust

The Scottish Wildlife Trust has been championing nature conservation for almost 50 years. From maintaining a network of over 120 reserves and campaigning at a local and national level for greater protection for wildlife to the groundbreaking reintroduction of beavers in Mid-Argyll, their activities aim to protect Scotland's wildlife for the future. You can find out more by visiting their website

Pease Dean Nature Reserve

Adjacent to Pease Bay is the Pease Dean Nature Reserve which includes Pease Burn and Tower Burn. The area beside Pease Burn is an open valley with grassland, gorse and alder. Upstream from where the two burns merge, the valleys become steeper and more wooded. Tower Burn has extensive areas of mixed woodland, which supports attractive ground flora. Part of the Reserve is SSSI designated, for its native oak woodland, mosses and liverworts.
